I have been loving the Invisible Library series since the beginning, so I was excited to be offered an ARC of The Untold Story, the final volume of the series (for now at least). It did not disappoint!

I enjoyed reading this so much that I stayed up way past my bedtime. It was wonderful to be back with favourite characters, and to finally find out the truths that have been hinted at throughout the series.

It’s hard to say much about the plot without spoilers, but it really was excellent. It tied up so many loose ends, and there was a happy ending for most. The world building, as always, was excellent.

If you’ve been loving the series like I have, get yourself a copy as soon as possible! It will keep you up past your bedtime, and leave you feeling satisfied and happy. I can’t wait to see what Genevieve Cogman writes next.

Blog Tour - Murder in Mayfair

  Review - 5 out of 5 stars: I love the Lady Eleanor Swift mysteries, and Murder in Mayfair was no exception. This time, Eleanor is trying to solve a murder and a burglary at the same time. I really enjoyed being along for the ride as she frantically tries to find the truth.  Eleanor is a favourite character, I love her forthrightness and the way she never gives up. She’s also kind and compassionate. I loved the way that she, Clifford, and Hugh worked together on this case. The mysteries themselves were intriguing, and I enjoyed the way finding out new facts gradually revealed what had actually happened. And I was still surprised at the reveal!  As always, I enjoyed the historical notes at the end. Overall, this was another excellent mystery from a favourite author.  I was given a copy of this book, my opinions are my own. Review: The Enforcer Enigma

The Enforcer Enigma by G.L. Carriger My rating: 5 of 5 stars Gail Carriger (aka G. L. Carriger) is my favourite author, and I will read anything she has written. I have high expectations, and she exceeds them every time.  This book was wonderful, just like all the others in this series. It was both hilarious and touching. It had a beautiful, heartwarming plot. As usual, the use of language is wonderful, and often playful, in a way that reminds me of P. G. Wodehouse (though the plot is obviously not alike).
