  Review - 5 out of 5 Stars: I’ve been enjoying the Lady Swift series since the very beginning, so I couldn’t wait to read Murder Stage Left. Our favourite detective agency is in Stratford this time, investigating some thefts, when fires and murders start occurring. It took me a little longer to get into this book than usual, though I think that’s more to do with how I was feeling than the book. However, once I did get into it, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was great fun to see the Byron detective agency getting into its stride, and Hugh adapting to no longer being in the police. This collection of characters are old friends by now, and I’m loving seeing how they’re getting on in each book. The mystery was an engrossing one. Everyone seemed to be hiding something, which further obscured the truth. I loved trying to figure it out alongside the detectives.   Review - 5 out of 5 Stars: A short review as I’m unwell at the moment. I’ve been reading the Kitty Underhay mysteries for years now, and every single one has been delightfully enjoyable. Murder in a Yorkshire Village fits right in with the rest. I loved reading this book. It combines favourite characters, a new and enjoyable setting, and an excellent mystery. What could be better? Plus I really enjoyed the character development in Inspector Lewis.  I was given a copy of this book, my opinions are my own.   Review - 5 out of 5 Stars: A quick review as I’m unwell. I have very much enjoyed all the previous books in this series, so I couldn’t wait to read An Uncommonly Festive Fiasco. This time, the dinner lady detectives are trapped in the town hall by appalling weather, and of course murder occurs! I so enjoyed reading this book, I love the collection of characters, and how they work together to solve the mystery. There were plenty of amusing moments among the slightly grimmer ones.  I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone who has enjoyed the series or likes cosy crime. I recommend reading the whole series from the beginning. I was given a copy of this book, my opinions are my own.
