The Cornish Christmas Pantomime Murder - 5 out of 5 stars

Review - 5 out of 5 stars: I have very much enjoyed this whole series, and The Cornish Christmas Pantomime Murder is no exception. It’s always lovely to return to a group of favourite characters like these ones. I’ve loved the ongoing story arc of Jodie’s relationships with both the police force and Nathan, as well as the rest of her family and friends. I very much enjoyed being along for the ride as Jodie & Co solved this mystery. It was as much fun watching them confirm their suspicions and nab the culprits as it was working out who did it. Overall, I absolutely loved this book. It’s the perfect combination of festiveness and crime! I was given a copy of this book, my opinions are my own.

Blog Tour - Murder at the Royal Palace

Review - 5 out of 5 stars: I’m a big fan of the Lady Eleanor Swift series, so I was thrilled to get my hands on an early copy of Murder at the Royal Palace. I was not disappointed by the content. I really enjoyed the location of this mystery - Eleanor and Co end up investigating inside the Tower of London. This added a hugely entertaining element to an already excellent mystery.  I loved the fact that the full cast was present for this story - all the ladies, Gladstone, and Tomkins, as well as Clifford, Eleanor, and Hugh. They are all favourite characters, and I so enjoyed seeing them working together. And I absolutely loved the addition of a certain Raven! The mystery itself was an excellent one. There were many possible suspects and motives to puzzle out, and it kept me guessing until our team of investigators worked it out. Overall, this was an excellent mystery. The crown jewels in a favourite series, in fact!  I was given a copy of this book, my opinions are my own...
